Wine Description

Like Leo, noble and engaging, this cuvée is the quintessence of Châteauneuf du Pape, where Grenache is king, and “La Crau” is its secret garden. Adrastée is rare — the singular satellite of the Halos de Jupiter.

Tasting Notes

This special cuvée originates from Lieu dit La Crau, south of Chateauneuf du Pape, on these unique terroirs. Grenache gives one of its finest expressions offering an extraordinary bouquet of black raspberries, incense, lavender, and minerals. The mouth if full-bodied rich and powerful while remaining elegant and balanced, very long finish.

Vineyards

Very old Grenache (over 100 years old) located on “La Crau”. This wine is 100% Grenache.

Aging

Although this wine could be enjoyed young, it will only develop its full character much later. It will keep its freshness for at least 20 years after bottling.
